The loan is secured by a first legal charge over the company shares of Rycal Asset Holdings Limited. The loan is managed to never exceed 65% of the refurbished value of the properties being purchased, providing a good degree of security in the unlikely event of default.

Rental income from letting the purchased properties will service the interest due on the loan, which is set at a fixed rate of 12% per annum throughout the investment period. Interest payments are made on the loan from Rycal Asset Holdings Limited to Minnesota Investments Ltd twice yearly, six monthly in arrears.
